Purple Heart Memorial Service
The VFW Post 190 and the Borough of New Providence will hold a Memorial
Service Honoring all Purple Heart Veterans.
Our service will be held on October 30, 2010, at our Veterans Memorial
Park, on South Street, here in New Providence
on Saturday at 10:00am.
The MOPH donated a beautiful monument, that was dedicated on August
28th.
We will present all Purple Heart Veterans with a Certificate of
Recognition for their Service.
POW/MIA Breakfast
Bergen County Executive Dennis McNerney through the Bergen County Division of Veterans Services is sponsoring a POW/MIA Breakfast and Remembrance ceremony
Friday, Sept 17 starting at 8:30AM sharp
The POW/MIA ceremony will immediately follow the breakfast at 9:00AM.
It will be at the Fiesta on Route 17 South in Woodridge.
Starting Time 7:00
Donation $35.00
